Our First Baby Arrives

Well, Kyle's first baby. His Victory motorcycle showed up today!
Thanks, Polaris!

It's a beautiful bike, but doubt I'll be riding that monster anytime soon, if at all. I'm already scared out of my mind that Kyle is going to ride it.
We are fitting in just fine down here in the sticks of the South.

The World is Flat

Kyle and I just enjoyed our first vacation together as a married couple - Orlando, Florida! I'm sure you're asking yourself ... why Orlando? Well, 6 months ago, we were on our honeymoon in Jamaica and met a lovely couple from Scotland. They were going on holiday to Florida and invited us along. So, we met them in Orlando, as did their friends from Wales. Quite the random turn of events and quite the crew sharing a villa in Florida.

We had a blast! I still can't believe I was at Disney World with my husband ... it doesn't get much better than that. I have to thank Russell and Fiona for that because I would never have gotten him there on my own, that's for sure. And, while we had a great time, we plan to save our next Disney World trip for when we have kids ... and the kids are old enough to remember the experience. So, we won't be back for a long, long ... long time. :)

We enjoyed some pool time, learned a new game of cards (thanks to the UK) and Kyle got his grill on. We had fun watching Liam take in all that America (well, Orlando) had to offer on his first trip to the US - trying his first Twinkie and our gourmet treat, the corndog.

But, Russell and I found the best sight of the trip. You've all heard of the Canadian Tuxedo - full jean outfit - right? Take a loot at the Tie Dye wonder we found at Hollywood Studios.

Only in America.

We Found Ohio in the Middle of Northwest Arkansas!

After 10+ days of straight rain ... we finally had an afternoon of clear skies and took full advantage. We hit the nature trail in Bella Vista for a little bit of exploring. We ran into someone I work with at Walmart that was hiking with his kids, we took a picture for an elderly couple that wanted to capture the beautiful day, and ... we found a Buckeye Tree!

My allergies have finally disappeared (knock on wood) so I was able to enjoy nature without cursing at it because of my itchy eyes. This state really is beautiful and so is a Sunday afternoon with nothing to do but enjoy the beauty.

It's all about the journey ...
